update

It's been a while since I wrote anything, so I figured it was time. Work has slowed way down. We are back to Monday - Thursday 6-4:30. A normal 40 hour week. All the extra temps they brought in, to work on the boom line, have been let go. (all 240 of them) They have finally moved our department to the plant across town. So now instead of a 40-45 minute drive, it takes less then 30. And it is a direct shot to the highway. (thank gawd)

The summer here has been fairly warm for our area, ranging in the mid to high 80's for weeks on end. And it was wet, wet, wet. The hay crops will be sparse for the year. So the cost will probably be sky high. Which is a bad thing for beef raisers, and will more than likely force the cost of meat up in the near future.

Not really a whole lot else to say. I found a site that has a bunch of words of wisdom, so I will leave you with a few today.....

The greatest lesson in life is to know that even fools are right sometimes. - Winston Churchill

We must adjust to changing times and still hold to unchanging principles. - Jimmy Carter

There is nothing evil save that which perverts the mind and shackles the conscience. - St. Ambrose
